Dave Whipple is a seasoned entrepreneur with a consistent record of success. He has both built effective organizations which he has headed and helped others to structure and develop theirs through his Statcon Consultants practice. Currently, his focus is on assisting high tech companies develop business opportunities in the federal and major industry sectors.

Dr Whipple has a PhD in economics and began his professional career at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. There, he was most recently the Associate Provost for Innovation and Founding Director of IDEA, the Institute for Defense Education and Analysis. Upon his retirement, he concentrated on assisting eLearning firms in the Silicon Valley with their business development. From there he has transitioned into the broader IT community. He has served as VP, Business Strategy for Human Factors Associates and is currently COO of Advanced Onion.
